As We Start the New Year!

I've decided to start blogging more....   sharing more about our life and different things that God shows me.......  of course, that involves home schooling, Compassion International, living on our little 'farm,' life in the country, trips to the big city and of course the lives of our children. Our oldest four who are now adults....  Michael (Mike) 28, his wife Amber (29), Mandi (25), Dakota (20) and our three youngest Lysa (16), Wyatt (11) and Wesley (10).
I share a lot about how fast the time goes.....   seems like yesterday the bottom pic was in 2009~ when my little guys were 6 & 7.  Now, they are 10 & 11.  Seems like yesterday they were babies.

I also, count gifts.... and share, share, share about how seeing life differently has changed my life. Even in the ugly-beautiful I find something to give thanks for.....   I grab hold of a moment or two and laugh with the kids. Sometimes LIFE is HARD.....   but giving thanks and looking for HIS gifts all around me keeps me from looking at the HARD and looking for the BEAUTIFUL!

So, as I said ..... I plan to just journal our life....   and I am thankful for all of you peeking in!

Happy New Year!

Make a difference in the life of a child!

  3. Looking forward to you blogging more! I enjoy your sharing! You encouraged me to count my joys! I started last year. I looked over them just this morning & began to write in for 2014 too. It does change my outlook. It encourages & uplifts my spirit into a true attitude of thankfulness. Your family is a blessing!
