Something so Small can be so Big.

A few weeks ago our D-group delivered food boxes to an elderly community. It was such a blessing... to them.... and to us.  The last apartment we went to the elderly woman literally started crying and thanking Jesus. She said she didn't have any food left .... just water.  Wow.

It only took us about an hour. We delivered 72 boxes. The kids loved helping. Wesley was so surprised when the woman at the last apartment cried and thanked Jesus and us. He kept saying "Mom, she said she didn't have any food!"

We hope to be able to continue to help this elderly community. Something so small and it meant so much.

  6. How heartbreaking that the last woman didn't have any food. I wonder if she has family members that help her out when she's out of basic neccesities like food and hygeine supplies. I would feel so tempted to check up on her every few weeks. What a great thing you were able to do!
