Looking back .... Thanking God.

It is hard for me to believe that our Wyatt is 11. He is our fifth born... our third son.

Eleven years ago today....   Wyatt Emory was born.  He was born 7 weeks early at 33 weeks. God is faithful and today he is celebrating his eleventh birthday.  Wow... where has the time gone?

He loves Legos....   he collects so many. Right now it is the Hobbit....  he loves them. We celebrated with a few friends last weekend.... but today on his birthday we went to Dairy Queen before Awana. He was thrilled. We also celebrated with brownies after church tonight!  All my children love the way I make my brownies!

I am so thankful for Wyatt.....   he has brought so much joy into our lives. He has a soft heart and is calm (most of the time). He is thankful ....   he loves Jesus and I know God has a special plan for his life.
I am also thankful for our family doctor. He has been our doctor since 1992. He has delivered 4 of our 6 children. He has ministered to, cared for and prayed with us through the years. Our family loves him dearly. We always said if God blessed us with a 7th child we would name them Reese...  girl or boy.. Reese would of been their name.

Happy Birthday, Wyatt!

  1. Aww, I remember that day! And I've felt so guilty all these years for bringing you that ham that sent your sodium level skyrocketing! (lol, sort of)

But God is so good! His hand was on you and precious Wyatt! He is such a joy to be around (all your kids are!)You have raised them well, you're such a good momma! And God's grace is sufficient. And isn't He so good?

    Happy birthday to Wyatt!

ps - You should have seen him at council time last night. We all sang happy birthday to him, and his little face turned so red! But he had the biggest smile on his face! Even Mike commented on it.

    Love you! (((HUGS)))
