Our First Day in pictures

Our Dakota's first day of college

My 4th & 3rd grade students

Ready for school...  I decided this year to organize their books in lockers. That way they can carry these around as they read on their beds, or swing or MY bed....
Our 8th grader

Boys working on math....
our calender & chore charts
after school.... our P.E... our recess ... fun!

It was a great day... so thankful for this gift of teaching my children.

  4. For now our school plans are on hold. It is so hard for me. I want to be HOME (even as mixed up as everything is right now!) doing stuff--everyday stuff--with the kiddos. Each week I think, "OK. Next week is the week we get to start school!" and then we still aren't done moving. It's so hard with Steve not being able to function like he longs to--everything takes so much longer than we plan. So I patiently (ha!) wait until I get to finally get it all together and get everything going. Sigh. And I'm sure that we will be nowhere as organized as you. Especially at this point. But someday. ;-)

I fully understand your sadness with looking into the future and the kids growing up. Just today I was talking with Eli, telling how big he is growing. He was saying how he's going to grow up and go to work and have a big house and not live with Mommy someday. That's a big step for him to make these plans. Just last month he was frustrated that he was growing and saying that he wanted to stay little forever and be with me. Ha Ha! I am proud of him for loosening up a bit on the apron strings but sad at the same time. So I know just what you mean!

And I understand how you feel with your other struggles too. Boy do I understand!! Sigh. By the grace of God, right? We do share much in common.

I so appreciate your prayers!! I don't know where I would be without my friends who love and support me!! :-)

Praying for you--that your peace will continue in spite of your circumstances and that your family will have a beautiful, blessed school year!!

Much love to you my wonderful friend!!
