What it is all about... what's really important!

Our youngest of 6 children....   Wesley... asked JESUS to be his Savior!  We are so excited. All of my children are now saved!  All of them belong to HIM.  All of them will be together....  in heaven!
Our sweet Wessie....   our last child. He was born when I was almost 42. He nursed for a very long time. ~smile The longest of all of our children. He weighs 20lbs more than his older brother Wyatt who is 17 months older.  They are best friends.
He's been asking for a long while but not understanding.....   Wyatt asked Jesus to be his Savior in August 2009...  Wes didn't understand...   then Wyatt was baptized on Palm Sunday and again Wes watched.  This morning as we were reading our Advent reading/Jesse Tree activities he asked if he could talk to me.  He wanted to talk alone.  He said he wanted to be saved.  Told me that a few days ago he was awake in his bed...  and prayed and asked Jesus to be his Savior.  He cried...  I cried...  we prayed.  God is faithful....  I am so very thankful.   He has blessed me more than I could ever imagine!

We received our "Way of the Light Wreath" on Monday.  Ann Voskamp's son Caleb makes these. I wanted one last year but didn't order one. So this year I wanted one so much....   dh said for me to order it. It is beautiful.... smells wonderful. I know we will use it for years and years.  We will enjoy it for Advent, Lent and the Ascension. Ann is also offering a FREE Advent Devotional for you and your family.

Rejoice with me....    the every day struggles do not seem as hard....  for today heaven rejoiced as Wesley invited Jesus to be his Savior!

  1. Hi! You don't know me but I began reading your blog because I am a fellow Christian mother and I noticed we had a lot in common. I have 4 kiddos, ages 13, 7, 4, and 3. Three girls and one boy - the youngest. :)

How wonderful that your youngest is saved!! Praise God! Out of our four, only our oldest is saved so far for certain...our 7yr old has talked to me a lot lately about salvation and baptism. I know she is close and I'm so pleased, because she is my strongest willed child and the one that will need Jesus on her side the very most! :) I am glad that my youngest children have their older siblings to model.

Just wanted to say hi and say "welcome to the Kingdom" to your little guy.
