For several years I have shared with all of you how I miss that my younger children do not have any living grandparents. My Dad died in 2007, my mom in 2008. My husband's mom died in 2003 before Wesley was born.... they lived in Maine and so she was never able to see Wyatt .... then dh's dad moved here in 2004 and we had two years with him. He went to be with the Lord in 2006. I miss my children having grandparents.
A few years ago I shared about a man we were visiting who lived on the way to church. Within a few months Mr. H... went to live with his son about four hours away.
This past April we met Mrs. Nancy. She was visiting the Children of the World Choir when we were... and the leaders introduced Alyssa and I to Nancy. We saw her again, exchanged phone numbers and over the course of that last couple months... God has given us Mrs. Nancy.... and we are so excited.
Nancy is wonderful... she makes us laugh... she has such a heart for giving. She sponsors several children through World Help. She loves my children.... God is great. He has blessed us with Nancy.
I just wanted to share with all of you....
We are counting the days until Christmas. Enjoying our Advent. Each night we light our "Way of the Light Wreath."
May the Joy of the Lord be yours....
How wonderful. I'm sure you all bless Nancy's life too!! A perfect combination.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. We have never had the pleasure of living close to my children's grandparents (we were one hour away, once), but God has always given us plenty of serrogate grandparents to fill the void between visits! :)
ReplyDeleteHow like the Father to bring you together. I'm sure it will be a rich, special blessing to all of you.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am sure you are all such a blessing to her as well!
