This was the view from our front door... more cabins and the bay .... so peaceful.
brothers skim boarding.....We have finished most of our school. The boys will still do a math worksheet twice a week, maybe three times a week... but if I say twice a week then hopefully we will do that. :) We will still do a little phonics.... as for Alyssa she is finished. She will still do some summer reading. She finished "Pollyanna" in about three days. I love when they read.... so much better than watching a movie or playing wii. I really love to see them reading, swimming and playing board games. I feel like they use their brains!
Alyssa has very thick, long hair. It takes a long time to iron it... so we tried to scrunch it and it worked great. One of the kids... not sure who it was told her she looked like the Duggar girls. hehehe.... so now she says "I am going to duggarize my hair!" We love the Duggars.I am cleaning out and decluttering... slowly but still.... going through our bookshelves and tossing out what we do not need. I will go to central GA's curriculum fair. They have an awesome used book sale. I will take books to sell and I will look for the books I need. It is one of the best used book sale I have ever been to... even better than our state curriculum fair.
I thought about taking a break from blogging. Not sure how many are still stopping by. I often wonder if I am just talking "fluff" or am I encouraging? I want to bring glory & honor to God. Sometimes I wonder what to share.... I want to be real but I do not want to complain.
This really spoke to me .... I do worry.

It would be great if you and the kids could load up your van and take a trip out west we would love to have you spend some time with our family. I know our kids would have so much fun playing together:-}Someday I hope and pray to bring our family out your way, I know it's so far but hey a person can dream can't they??
