One Year Anniversary!

Been thinking about our sponsored child Erik. He has changed our life so very much this past year.

Today is ONE year ago we sponsored Erik! He is our Valentine Sponsored child!

Here is the pic we received in our mail....
Kees sent us lots and lots and lots of pictures!

His mom and sister...  and Delicia the project worker....
We fell in love with Erik with his sister, Marisbel and his mom, Nancy. We fell in love with his letters!
See how happy he was when he received our gifts from one of the Our Compassion friends that traveled to Bolivia!

This pic was after his haircut!

Just yesterday I received this!!!

Can you believe it?! He is holding up the Boofle card we sent him and several of our letters!

 He said ....
"I greet you and all your family with lots of hugs and kisses wishing that you are blessed. I am very happy to receive your letters, stickers and beautiful pictures, thank you, everything is pretty, the card is great and I like it a lot. I love you very much. I dismiss until another opportunity, I send you a picture. ~Erik"

So very thankful for Erik. Thankful for all of our Compassion sponsored children.

Happy 1yr Anniversary, Erik! Thank you for allowing us to have a part in your life. You ARE a kind boy! ~ We love you.

Sponsor a child today!

  1. Wow! I can't believe that it's been a year. I've been following you and Erik since the beginning.

I just love seeing how happy he is holding your letters, especially since they aren't even translated yet and he has no idea what it says!

  2. I sponsored Mabel around the same time as you sponsored Erik. And man has time flown! I can hardly believe that a whole year has gone by since we each fell in love with our sweet Bolivian kids! Delicia is such an angel to send you extra pictures :) I am soo happy for you. I know that both you and Erik will continue to be blessed by your sponsorship!
