We have winners.....

Last night at our Awana Grand prix.... Wyatt & Wesley both won. They were so excited.

Wesley won 2nd in speed. We normally do not win in speed.... but after having five older children and many other grand prix.... I think we are gaining speed. Pun intended! :) Wyatt threw his arms up in the air and said "MOM, our family has never won in speed!"

A very busy week here.... on Monday I took Alyssa to the doctors (again THIS Monday) for an eye infection. It was cellulitis and not contagious. Later on Monday we went to our annual home schooling science fair.

Making home made silly putty or magic mud. Alyssa, Wyatt & Wesley. This is an easy....fun project. Just cornstarch & water. We talked about how we need to be stable, strong in the Lord and not unstable... as this substance is.

On Tuesday Wyatt woke up running fever..... and croupy. So off to the doctor we went.... he has bronchitis.... so we did breathing treatments and antibiodic. Three trips to the doctor in the past week after not going for almost a year!

We had a field trip this morning to the jail... about 45 children going but we opted to stay home because during the night Wyatt's fever went UP.

The sun is out today but it is still pretty cold for us southerners! It was 34 this morning. Did I say I am SO ready for SPRING?!
