A New Year 2010

It really seems strange to me...... Two thousand and ten..... Twenty ten....

Seems like yesterday it was 19..... Maybe 1997.... the year our Alyssa was born. Then 2000.... but it seems.... like each year goes by faster.

So of course everyone asks .... what are your New Year's Resolutions.....

I do set goals. I like making a list. I normally do this in my quiet time journal.

I set goals.... for myself though through the year too.

Some of the my goals for 2010....

spend more time alone with the Lord.
continue to walk each day for my physcial and spiritual health
make more memories with the kids.....
read several books
work on my scrapbooking

Some of my prayer requests for 2010

Wesley's salvation
Matt Chandler (pastor in Tx~ cancer)

I try to not put so much pressure ... and make to many *resolutions* and then break them all because I do not measure up. God is faithful. His mercies are new each morning and for that I am grateful.

Thank you for always being faithful to stop by..... May God bless you as you start this NEW YEAR....

  6. Thanks for stopping by our blog. Your family looks precious.

I agree where have the years gone? Our oldest is soon to be 18 and yet I often feel as though she should be Ruth Ella's age. They do slip away to fast and I like you want so much to leave my children with memories and a legacy that will glorify our Lord.

Hope 2010 is a blessed year for your family:)
