Life Changing Experience!

My youngest three and I went to Jacksonville, Florida to the Compassion Experience! It was amazing. Life changing.
It is a mobile experience. You walk through the lives of three Compassion children....  you see what a difference Compassion makes through sponsorship in their lives.
A much needed family field trip....   we heard the true stories of Brinda from India, Reuben from Bolivia, and Julian from Uganda.

So often we think poverty means starving or homeless but that isn't true. Poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for....    we sponsor from Africa, South America and Asia. Life is different for each of them....  if your sponsored child writes to you saying they had treats or even some type of American food...   that doesn't mean they are not in need of sponsorship!
After we heard the story of Julian from Uganda....   we met her!! She is in the USA, she has graduated from Compassion International and is now giving back by helping children!

It was such an amazing experience! I am so thankful we were able to see the Compassion Experience!

After we finished .....   I had a surprise for Wyatt & Wesley (Lysa knew).....   next time.....

You can change the life of a child forever... sponsor a child today!

  3. SO cool! I was very blessed to be able to go twice :) It came just over a year ago, and I was able to go through Brinda's and Rueben's stories. Just over a month ago, it came back, and I was able to go through Julian's and Rueben's again! It is an awesome experience. The staff are amazing (I had the blessing of volunteering with them for 13 hours!) and the stories are incredible :) So neat that you got to meet Julian, she sounds like a great lady!!
