Lysa works on her school... in her room, independently. She listens as we read and when we have devotions. She is very diligent and wakes up earlier than the boys... I can not believe she is already in 10th grade. Only a few more years before she starts her college journey.
Side note..... Dakota is at VSU and loves it there. We talk to him often and of course I text daily with him. We still miss him.... but Lysa and I are not crying every minute... hehe... thanks for praying for us. I know some thought it was silly... since he is only 2 hrs away... but that wasn't it. It's the fact that he probably will not "live" here anymore ... anyway, thanks for praying!
Our first day was LONG. It seems we have to work out the kinks but as we went on through the week our days were shorter and the boys loved that!
We are still using Heart of Dakota. I just love that. We learn new things every day. The boys enjoy it.
So very thankful for these days of home schooling. So many years ... with my children and so very thankful for the gift to teach my children.
