He is working on his home work at the Compassion project. I just see the little things in this video.... he reminds me so much of our Wesley. I love seeing how he glances up and continues working.... I love seeing how he changes pencils, I love seeing his piece of orange there on the table.... but my most favorite thing.....
is the way he taps his hand.... like playing the drums! Do you know what?
Our Wesley does the exact same thing! Isn't God great! He cares about the little things.... a boy the same age as my youngest... in South America.... who does his home work a lot like our Wesley does his school work.
These sponsored children that we take the time and build a relationship with.... are REAL... they are just like our children.... it just touches my heart deep how He connects us with them.
If you have never sponsored a child through Compassion International it is an amazing, life changing gift from God. We see life so differently... life takes on a whole different perspective... God is faithful.
To Him be all glory.....
Sponsor a child today!

Great post! Glad you shared this video! Kids are kids...even in poverty. Our kids nor us either really understand what being in poverty would be like nor being grateful for someone else's burden for us~prayerfully & financially. In America we are so blessed (& spoilded). Erik doesn't seem to mind to do his work at all! :) Love ya, Laurie
ReplyDeletespoiled-sorry for my typo! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat video is nothing short of amazing. The way he drums his hands is sweet. I like the way he looked at the camera like, "Seriously man, I'm trying to focus here." Haha. At least that's what I got out of it.
ReplyDeleteAwww... that's so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great video! It's so cool that you have these - I know you cherish them.
