Because of Him~ for His glory...

I  had some time to think & pray.  The past couple weeks have been difficult. Spent some time in the word, counting gifts and reading.

Thank you all for your love and the comments.

I really love blogging. I love sharing what is going on in our lives and what Compassion means to us.

Sometimes I think about having two separate blogs ...  one for Compassion and one for our life... but Compassion is our life. IT is part of who we are....

So I have to find a way to mix the two... and sometimes that is hard for me.

I love writing my thoughts down . I love looking back at past blog posts and seeing how far God has brought us... continues to carry us and is always with us.

Over half way through 2012. My word. GRACE. Much needed. We have been visiting a church named GRACEPOINTE for the past 9 months.  This past Christmas a good friend gave me a wall hanging that said "His Grace is Enough."  I have quoted that over and over....   GRACE. GRACE.GRACE  ...   I can see His grace all around me....   I count His gifts/grace that He gives me every day.  Something you can not buy anywhere. He freely gives....

    Teena,
    Seems so long since I've been by for a visit. I'm sorry that I haven't had time to come by and encourage you lately. :-( It is ironic that it feels like we are running a parallel life but the catagories are a little different. Sometimes I wish that my passions (gardening and nature) were as overtly spiritual as your passion. :-) But our Father creates us each differently does he not?

    I did try to keep two separate blogs at one point but it made me feel schizophrenic. :-) So now I just try to combine it all in each post--a little bit of personal with my big helpings of gardening/nature. :-D My blog is just for therapy for me and to keep everybody updated on our lives anyway. I don't even pretend to be qualified to share deep, spiritual knowledge. Not that I don't have some. :-) I've just resigned myself to knowing that that's just not the primary gift that the Lord has given me. Which is humbling to admit. ;-) I think that you do a much better job in all that and that you are a great asset to Compassion!! The key is to not look at what everyone else is doing and go with you heart. If you can be content with doing your own thing following the Lord's leading you can't go wrong. :-) Just listen to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to your heart.

    This summer has been crazy busy! I love having just one blog. Gives me a chance to share what is going on in our lives and how Compassion is a part of that. Once school starts again, I hope to get in a better schedule of visiting my blog friends and being an encouragement to them. Enjoy these days!
