A New Song~

Yesterday I attended the simulcast "Getting Out of the Pit" by Beth Moore~ it was live in Tyler, Texas and 500 churches hosted it.

150,000 women watching.

Is that awesome or what?

God was there...... from Mexico to Canada.... from California to New York.... from Florida to Washington State.... and Alaska.

Living Life on Purpose....

I waited patiently for the Lord

He turned to me and heard my cry

He lifted me out of the slimy pit

He set my feet on a rock

He put a new song in my mouth

That's what I needed *fresh strength*

Only God can give it.... everything else isn't the real thing.

Sometimes life gets weary.... but IF we wait on God we will gain fresh strength, we will soar like eagles, we will run and not get tired.

IF we wait..... not rushing ahead.

Today I have fresh strength. The weekend was heavy... the world and its ways crashing in... making me weary but I waited... knowing God would give me HIS strength.... the strength that only comes from Him.

It came~ fresh strength.
